Composer and sound designer Viljami Mehto has collaborated with Smak since the company´s early days, creating bespoke music and sound designs to many of Smak ´s productions. Sound and image are equal partners in creating an immersive, emotional experience. Indeed, sometimes sound may be more important!

“I had a funny way of watching films as a kid. I would assemble these massive loudspeaker sets in my room and just listen to the sounds and music. The TV screen was tiny in comparison - almost an afterthought. I love the moment when I get the call about a new project. Here´s the brief, here´s the idea, now let´s take it to the next level. I feel this shared attitude is behind my long collaboration with Smak.”
